Christmas Time

Christmas this year was pretty different than previous years. We actually got a REAL break. We usu ally have a mission trip the last week of December/First week of Jan. Don't get me wrong we LOVE going on mission trips but it does make us rush with our families more than we would like. Go to this house, go to this house, go home, go to the airport, arrive in a new country in about 24 hours total. Needless to say it can get exhausting. But this year was different. We got to spend a glorious week and a half in Tennessee. It was so much fun and here are some pics from our time. We love you family and let us know if there is anything we can do for you!

Here are some pictures of our trip to Alabama Theater before the trip to Tennessee. We watched It's A Wonderful Life and I will be watching that movie from no on every Christmas on the big screen if I can find it. It was AMAZING. Daniel and I dressed up in our best 1940's get up to feel even more like it was opening day for the movie back in 1945. So here are a few pics and you REALLY should try to see it this way.
This one is of me in my get up.

Daniel and I got all dolled up for our night on the town. We had a hard time finding the theater because Mr. Phillips said he knew exactly where it was. Uh huh, we got these in enough time to see the movie but not enough time to go eat some dinner. No matter it was still really fun.

One last pic of my great outfit. Can you tell I like it. :0)

The Oregon player was fantastic and we all sang along to his music with Christmas songs. I can imagine this is what people just did bak then. It was so nostalgic!

And finally this is Big Mama as Daniel and I named her. This is the Oregon that is played before each show at the Alabama Theater. It's so pretty isn't it. We had a great time and we were ready for our trip to Tennessee after that night. Next year I think we will try to take in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation too if we have time. Have you seen any great movies at a theater like this one? I have been to the Tennessee Theater once and it was similar but bigger. No pics from that night, sorry. We were actaully singing there for something but that's a story for another day. The next few posts will be of our time in Tennessee so keep your eyes open for them.
